October and early November offer European pickleball players a dense run of team competition, national championships and international opens. Here is a clear, travel-friendly guide to the events currently on the calendar.
9–11 October — 2nd Luxembourg International Pickleball Open
The second Luxembourg International Pickleball Open takes place at the Centre National de Tennis in Esch-sur-Alzette. The listed programme is singles on Friday, gender doubles on Saturday and mixed doubles on Sunday. Organisers have described an international field and a 12-court setup, making this one of the region’s most accessible spectator weekends as well as a competition.
10–11 October — Dutch Pickleball League, Breukelen
The inaugural Dutch Pickleball League is at PassieCenter Breukelen. It uses a draft-based team format rather than a standard individual or fixed-pair draw: 40 Challenger and 40 Premier players are listed to be drafted into teams of four. Challenger competition is scheduled for Saturday and Elite competition for Sunday.
16–18 October — RTA500 Czech Open, Frýdlant nad Ostravicí
The RTA500 Czech Open is currently listed as a three-day event in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, Czech Republic—not a one-day event. It is part of a wider October weekend that gives travelling players a chance to combine a serious tournament with a growing Central European pickleball community.
23–25 October — NK Pickleball, Arnhem
The Netherlands National Championships are scheduled at Sportcentrum Valkenhuizen in Arnhem. The published outline places singles on Friday, youth, mixed doubles and wheelchair pickleball on Saturday, and gender doubles on Sunday. This is a good event to follow if you want to see the Dutch competitive scene across several divisions.
29 October–1 November — English Nationals, Bolton
The English Nationals are listed for Bolton Arena, with results submitted to DUPR. For any tournament, entry availability and draw information can change after the first publication, so check the organiser’s current event page before booking travel or accommodation.
3–8 November — EPF European Open, Türkiye
The EPF European Open follows at Ali Bey Club Manavgat, Türkiye. The European Pickleball Federation lists an eight-day programme and 18 pickleball courts. That scale makes it a key date for players who want a dedicated event environment rather than a short local weekend tournament.
How to use this calendar
Choose the event that fits your goal: league-format experience in Breukelen, an international open in Luxembourg, a national championship in Arnhem, or a larger European trip to Türkiye. If you are newer to competition, read the divisions and rating requirements first, build in a rest day for travel, and check whether paddles, balls and warm-up courts are provided.
